Lead, Industry Alloance

Key Role

The role provides you with great networking opportunities to interact with C-level executives, gain insight of strategic initiatives and directions in the tech sector and latest technology trends, and at the same time manage Chapters to help contribute to the betterment of the industry.

  • Grow SGTech membership.
  • Deliver value and relevance to the Industry through its Chapters and Committees.
  • Identify and create new value propositions to enhance membership's value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source for, network and engage prospective companies to join as a member.
  • Engage and develop relationship with representatives of member companies.
  • Communicate and recommend relevant initiatives that best assist members.
  • Support the Chapter/Committee which include tasks like coordinating meetings, preparing presentation materials and writing meeting minutes
  • Support and execute Chapter/Committee events and activities which include securing sponsorship, engaging speakers, liaising for marketing communication, supporting as emcee and others.
  • Engage and explore with stakeholders like government agencies and partner organizations on initiatives that enhance membership value.
  • Update and maintain all contacts and engagement in designated systems and folders.
  • Ensure both financial and non-financial objectives assigned are fulfilled.

  • Confident to interact with people at all levels, including C-level (good interpersonal skills)
  • Confident to present to a large group of audience
  • Collaborate with others and contribute to the team
  • Self-disciplined and can work independently
  • Meticulous
  • Empathetic and has a customer-service oriented, can-do mindset
  • Good written skills
  • Self-directed learner - curious and inclined to technology
  • Good leadership and organizational management skills
