Depot Traffic Controller
Pre-Requisites
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels (GCE ‘A’ Levels is preferred), or an equivalent
- Able to operate computer-based control systems
- Willing to perform shift work
- Ability to identify colours
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control train movements / track access in Automatic Train Operation (ATO) area within the depot
- Responsible for timely launch and withdrawal of both passenger trains and engineering trains used for maintenance works
- Inform Chief Controller, liaise with relevant Engineering departments and provide quick recovery action to minimize service disruption in response to public demand arising from train / track failure / degraded depot operation
