Technical Officer (Facilities Management)
Pre-Requisites
- Diploma in Building Services / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with 3 years relevant experience in building and building services maintenance
- Good leadership & communication skills
- Computer literate
- A team player, flexible & co-operative
- Positive, self-motivated & resourceful
- Responsible & dependable
- Prepared to work after office hours due to exigencies of service
- Willing to perform 3 shifts
- Ability to identify colours
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the contractors and ensure that they deliver the service according to the agreement
- Check and monitor that all proper practices (such as fault reporting, response to corrective maintenance, safety procedure, etc.) required by the Engineer are carried out by contractors
- Inspect and audit contractors’quality of works, level of manpower, spares, tools and equipment
- Monitor performance of outsourced contractors to ensure conformance to quality and proper documentation
- Perform Duty Officer duties in accordance with duty roster
- Assist in the review of Work instruction process for continuous improvement and updating
- Supervise in-house minor work technicians to carry out building minor works as instructed by superior
