Technical Officer (Power & Overhead Catenary System)
Pre-Requisites
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering • Preferably with minimum 2 years' working experience
- Good interpersonal skill
- Resourceful, self-motivated and result-oriented
- Good team player
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and operation of NEL HV/LV and DC traction power distribution system, network and equipment
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out in accordance to maintenance master plan, work instruction and procedures
- Operate, maintain, test and commission power equipment such as HV/LV equipment, DC traction power equipment and associated auxiliary equipment
- Ensure prompt response to clear system faults and carry out rectification works
- Liaise with contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment replacement works
- Ensure safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated
- Assist STO or Engineers in all areas of responsibility as stipulated above
- Perform any engineering works or tasks as being assigned by STO or Engineers
- Perform works and documentation in accordance to the ISO Quality Standards and quality procedures
