Technician (Automatic Fare Collection)
Pre-Requisites
- Possess a Higher Nitec in Electronics/Information Technology or Nitec in Electronics (Computer Technology)/info-communication Technology
- Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in Automatic Fare Collection or Electronic Engineering System Possess good computer network knowledge
- Ability to identify colours
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the maintenance of the AFC equipment so as to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of the systems meet the standards agreed with the Operating Departments
- Liaise with contractors for the modification works to be done at stations and Depot
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance to the work instructions and procedure
- Ensure fast response in clearing ticketing system faults and carrying out repair service works
- Perform any Engineering work or tasks as being assigned by Senior Technical Officer
- Ensure Safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated
