Service Engineer

Job Description

  • Provide systematic approach for IT infrastructure and system security with technical design and engineering execution
  • Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to IT infrastructure and IT solution packages in industrial automation
  • To support endpoint security service
  • Configure and troubleshooting of routers, switches and firewall
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Response to Emergency Call and service request from customers;
  • Perform 24 hours standby for Emergency Call (rotation basis)

Experience

  • Knowledge of  computer hardware/software and network troubleshooting & configuration
  • Knowledge in LAN, WAN, Multilayer switching, Dynamic routing protocol, Network Switches & Firewall, Network Monitoring System,
  • Understanding fundamental IT related technology related to data communication to higher level application server, data flow between DCS, OPC and database system

Knowledge/ Professional Skills

Added advantage for candidate with knowledge and skills in:

  • Computing OLE for Process Control (OPC), Distributed Control System (DCS) fundamental data flow, Process knowledge Control Information related to SAP, Database e.g. SQL, Oracle, C# and /or VB.Net programming
  • Knowledge of maintaining / trouble-shooting /configuring network, Process Control, Control System, SCADA and Field Instruments will be an advantage;
  • Centralized Backup System, Microsoft Domain Policies and Domain Security Setting Environment experienced, Virtualization,
